Tax Problem FAQS
These are just a few of the most commonly asked questions we get.
If you do not find your question, please get in touch.
What happens when I get a notice or letter?
As soon as you get a notice, call, text or email us so we can start working on the problem. Every letter or notice the IRS sends out has a deadline FROM THE DATE OF THE LETTER. They only wait a short time over the deadline before sending out the next notice. They don't stop and will not go away.
how long will you work on my case?
We work on your case until it is closed by the IRS. In some cases that a failry short time. In others that could be a year or two for them to get their final determination. That also includes time for any necessary appeals to be heard and taken into account. Once you hire us, we don't go away or stop either.
What if I haven't filed in a while?
Whether you have unfiled and delinquent tax returns or just returns that need to be corrected, we can help with that. Just because we don't do return preparation as a product line, we are still capable of getting you the best outcome possible. There are times when a simple correction can actually solve the problem.
What do you charge?
Just as our plan will be tailored to your unique problem, your investment will be too. We provide you with a flat rate fee based on the services we provide, the complexity of your case and for some services, the amount you owe the IRS (an indication of the complexity). Our fees are never based on how much you save or the result we get. Doing that is illegal.
Do you have a guarantee? No, we have three
- We will treat you like family.
- We make sure that as soon as you hire us, you will never have to talk to the IRS again or have to face them.
- We guarantee you the absolute best outcome for your unique situation.
