The Process
1 st - A short Fit call
it's doesn't have to be any longer than 20 or 30 minutes. It's Just to get a feel for your situation and let you know who we are and how we can help.
(This one's on me!)
2nd - insights & answers meeting
If we both think we're a good fit for each other, and you have questions you need answered, we'll agree on a time for a much longer meeting (usually between and hour-and-a-half and two hours). I enjoy meeting in person. But, there are times when Zoom is much more practical since those meetings are recorded and we both get a summary of the meeting. There is a prepaid investment that may vary depending on the complexity of your situation (includes research and may be in two meetings). It's payable when we agree on the meeting. Look, bottom line is that if I can't give you ways we can cut your taxes or create tax free wealth, by the amount of the investment, I'll give you your money back.
3rd - you have A choice
You make a phone call about something you want to do or have done but don't know how it affects your taxes. He's a tax advisor that can sit down and discuss it, tell you what to do and more importantly what NOT to do. Give you straight answers and actually help you PLAN how your tax return turns out and even offers ideas that can create tax-free wealth you can pass on to your family. That, my friend is called a relationship. Someone that can go with you on this journey of yours and help you enjoy the ride. Let's talk about this choice. It's the one I prefer!
What happens if I don't choose that? You keep doing what you've always done. You send your information to you tax preparer. They put the numbers into the software and give you back a return to sign. Try calling any other time and IF they answer the phone, you most likely get told to "Google it" to get your answer. Most likely, you're paying very little for the return that is costing you hundreds or more likely thousands in over paid taxes.
BOTTOM LINE: You won't take your Beemer to Wal Mart. Why would you want to send your tax information to a Plug-and-Play perparer that gives you nothing more than some paper in the hopes you'll come back next year?
